Solvix SA is the "Sister Company" of CPAutomation which is specialized in industrial automation and electronics. It is located in Villaz-Saint-Pierre (FR), Switzerland. It was founded on August 21st, 2001

CPAutomation, very active in the field of surface treatment, devoted 14'000 research hours over two years to the perfection of a very effective electric generator for machinery and automatic equipment using plasma technologies. Solvix acquired this patented technological package. It can now offer its clientele a range of highly competitive tailor-made solutions.

Solvix hired a team of highly qualified engineers whose Leitmotif is the fulfilment of European industrial needs and still pursue its own research activities. Solvix works closely with the specialized Institutes of Advanced Technology and the Federal Institutes of Technology (HES in Fribourg, EPFL and ETHZ).

Solvix specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of a complete new range of DC and DC-pulsed plasma generators for biasing and magnetron sputtering; as well as current power supplies for arc evaporators, plasma-boosters or ion-sources. New products include the latest MAGIX series power supplies with the largest tapless feature. In addition to the standard MAGIX product line, specific R&D requests for other customized types of power systems can be investigated on a developmental basis. Being close to customer applications makes Solvix a strong partner for present and future needs in power delivery systems.

Neither a start-up
nor a vestige of the
old economy, Solvix
is acting in the true
Swiss tradition.
